Welcome to the official website of the Public Association «International League of Student Tourism and Orienteering» (ILSTO). We are an independent, voluntary, non-political, and non-profit organization dedicated to developing and promoting sports tourism, orienteering, and travel among students worldwide.
Our Key Missions:
- Promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth.
- Strengthening international student relations and friendship.
- Supporting the physical and intellectual development of students.
Supported Sports & Activities:
- Sports Tourism: hiking, mountaineering, water sports (rafting, kayaking), cycling, caving, skiing, sailing, and more.
- Orienteering: foot, ski, mountain bike orienteering, rogaining, and Trail-O.
- Student Expeditions: international ecological, geological, and archaeological projects.
- Safety & Rescue: supporting student rescue teams, volunteer training for emergency response in nature, and accident prevention.
Membership & Cooperation:
We are open to students, clubs, universities, and sports federations globally, regardless of citizenship. ILSTO actively develops international ties and cooperates with global organizations such as UIAA, IOF, UNESCO, and FISU.
